Care of oil-finished furniture
Oil-finished furniture is delicate furniture that requires constant care. For this reason, we recommend cleaning the furniture with products intended for oiled furniture, or wiping with a slightly damp cloth in the direction of the grain. The oiled surface is delicate, so avoid spillages, placing hot dishes on it etc. Any stains on furniture can be wiped with a special soap for oiled furniture, which not only cleans but also creates a protective layer on the surface. In case of heavy dirt and stains, you can rub the surface with fine-grained sandpaper and then apply the wood oil again.
To enjoy the beauty of oil-finished furniture for years, we recommend maintenance every two or three months with preparations designed for its care.
